They’ll pay me for this?
No, apparently not, but they might. I just discovered another web service called Triond. Its nothing new… you write something, if they like it they’ll publish it and from there its profit sharing. The more traffic the article gets the more money for you. I think there are various payment option and one of them is Paypal. Like most publishing establishment it has to be original work and hasn’t been published anywhere else. I didn’t really bothered to read their restriction policy and decided to submit a piece in my blog called “The Question of God and Religion”, I did put a lot of effort on that post, so I thought might as well get as much milleage as I can from it. I did change the text somewhat, took out names and references which I liberally sprinkled in, didn’t want the publisher to get sued or anything.
A few hours after I uploaded the word document, I got an email back from them stating that they are unable to publish my work because it had already been published in the web… they included a link to my blog. I was like… this people are switched-on. They found my obscure little web piece and have actually read enough of my submitted document to tell that they are pretty much the same idea, in a matter of hours… that is impressive. Then again I am easily impress, I once watched a gibbon made fun of a pair of adolescent tiger over and over for half-hour, all the while laughing my head off.
I guess I’ll just have to try again.
