Finally! John McCain’s senses took a leave of absence this past few months by resorting to a campaign of unprecedented level of hate mongering and scare tactics. But now that his supporters have been yelling “Obama is a traitor” and “should be killed” during republican rallies he finally sobered up and set some records straight. About freakin’ time.

This is the vid I was suspecting to be the basis for the masterful vid I posted earlier.

Kind of disappointing really. You could tell that Jerry wanted to be known as the guy who walked away from it all. It’s amusing that Larry does not prep for the interview but this shows more about Seinfeld’s character… never thought of him to be such a big head.

Lecture Time

Steven Pinker is one of my favorite public educator. The topic in this talk is about the directionality in social violence. I’m wondering how this maps into directionality in individual morality… hmm.

Masterful vid.

The funny thing is I first saw the concept on The Sketch Show. I’ll post it when I find it.

The whole “I’m a Mac and I’m a PC” shtick has been done to death. I think its mighty big of Microsoft not to play in the same passive-aggressive campaign that Apple started. I enjoyed this ad, although its a bit heavy in symbolism. Every geek and their dog are busy blogging their take for every single bit in the vid. You could tell Jerry Seinfeld’s paw is all over this one. Look familiar? Amex anyone?

7 Levels of consciousness

This video may seem a bit new age-y, but its really not… the language used just sound like new-age philosophy but it’s more pragmatic and more anchored to realism. I find myself drawn to this kind of thinking.
